Cotswolds police appeal for witnesses of supermarket thieves

Police in the Cotswolds have issued CCTV images and are appealing for witnesses of two men stealing items from a supermarket in Upper Rissington.

It was reported that two men had stolen items from within a supermarket off Mitchell Way at around 3.35pm on Thursday (March 17).

The men were described as both being white with one wearing a black top with white stripes down the arm and carrying a basket.

The second man was pushing a trolley and had an orange t-shirt on.

They got into a black Ford Focus with the registration YE58 FKJ and drove off.

Investigating officers have conducted numerous enquiries including into the vehicle but have yet to identify them.

Officers are asking anyone who witnessed this incident, recognise the men from the images or saw them in the area at the time, to get in touch.
