Cotswold skincare brand wins double gold

Cirencester-based ANI Skincare has won two gold and a silver in the Green Parent Natural Beauty Awards.

The Natural Beauty Awards recognise the most outstanding ethical products and brands in the beauty industry.

Now in their 11th year, these awards celebrate sustainability and excellence in beauty. The winning products in each category are judged on effectiveness, sustainability, and company ethics.

The first gold was awarded in the 'Best Bath Treat' category for ANI Skincare bath salts. Describing the bath salts, one award reviewer said: "I love the smell of these bath salts. Really natural and fresh. They dissolved easily in the bath and were easy to use. Very nice simple design. It looks beautiful in my bathroom. Glass bottle and metal lid can be recycled or, even better, reused!"

The second gold went to the ANI Skincare renewal body polish in the 'Best Body Scrub' category, and the silver recognition saw ANI's hydrating facial toner in the Best Toner category.

Reacting to news of the awards, ANI Skincare founder Joanna Walker said: "We couldn't be happier! ANI, which stands for As Nature Intended, is built around effectiveness, sustainability, and ethical practices.

"This validates our values and reassures our commitment to producing high-quality, eco-friendly skincare products. We are grateful for this recognition and will continue to innovate with nature and our customers guiding all we do."

ANI Skincare was founded after Joanna started making ethical skincare products as Christmas gifts in 2012. When people asked to replenish their gifts, she stepped up production and took a stall in Cirencester's charter market.

Several seasonal pop-up shops followed, accompanied by a successful online trade shipping across Europe, the US, and Australasia. In June 2021, ANI Skincare opened a shop in Stable Yard off Black Jack Street in Cirencester.

ANI Skincare products are available via their website or stocked at Burford Garden Company, Packaging Not Included in Marlborough, and at the ANI Skincare shop in Cirencester.
