Cotswold pub up for sale for over £750,000

A large country pub near Painswick is on the market freehold with offers in excess of £750,000 plus VAT.

The Royal William in Cheltenham Road, Cranham, has historically had annual turnover of around £500,000.

The two-storey stone detached pub has a number of extensions beneath various pitched roofs and has grassed and patio trade areas for circa 150 covers.

The pub has a large, grassed paddock, extensive car parking and sits on a plot of circa 2.9 acres.

Agents Savills say: "The Royal William presents an opportunity to acquire a large country pub within the Cotswolds AONB on a freehold basis. The property will be of interest to national, regional and local licensed operators, restaurateurs and investors."

The property is currently open and therefore all viewings must be arranged by prior appointment via Savills.

The pub's turnover in 2018/19 was £539,314.

Cranham is a village located within the Cotswolds AONB just off the A46 between Stroud and Cheltenham approximately four miles from Junction 11A of the M5 motorway.

The Royal William is situated on the outskirts of the village fronting the A46 between the nearby villages of Brockworth and Painswick.
