Cotswold engineering business recruits new director

Family-run Heming Engineering has appointed Mark Bayliss as new operations director to oversee expansion

The company - based in Willersey, near Broadway - prides itself on the traditional values of family businesses so Mark's appointment is apt as he is the cousin of Peter Heming, MD of sister company Heming Group.

Mark, who has more than 30 years' experience in sales, aftersales, engineering and service manager roles, will lead on the company's move into the sales of machinery and specialist equipment.

Heming Engineering Ltd are now suppliers for leading brands such as Muthing Flail Mowers, TYM/Tafe Tractors, Moreni Agricultural Equipment, Woods Rotary Mowers, Orsi Vegetation, Grillo ride-on mowers, plus other exciting brands joining shortly as Heming Engineering grows its sales portfolio.

The company operates across many sectors including agriculture, arable farming, construction, dairy farming, equestrian, grasscare, horticulture, livestock farming, mechanical engineering and sports and leisure.

Heming Engineering Ltd has built its reputation on providing tractor parts and machinery spares, the servicing and repair of all types of agricultural equipment, commercial and four-wheel drive vehicles and the maintenance of industrial and construction equipment.

Mark's distinguished career includes working with several global manufacturers related to the agricultural sector, holding key roles in a number of departments.

Mark, from the Cotswolds, said: "Peter Heming always wanted me to work in the family business, so I am delighted to be heading up the development in this new and exciting area of the Heming Group."

Peter Heming, MD of Heming Group, said: "We are really pleased to have someone with Mark's experience and expertise on board. He joins us at a busy time with our regular attendance at the Royal Three Counties Show - this year from June 15 to 17 - always one of the highlights of the year. Our presence this year is boosted by the company having its own stand for the first time."
