Cotswold catering firm join Jasmine Hemsley for Expo

Relish Events were reunited with celebrity wellbeing and nutrition advocate Jasmine Hemsley for the Future Fabrics Expo.

Jasmine and Relish ran the Expo's café for The Sustainable Angle's ninth Future Fabrics Expo in late January at Victoria House in London.

They teamed up to produce her favourite recipes from her 2018 cookbook - East By West.

Dishes included coconut, squash and lentil stew with purple kale and celebration pickle, quinoa minestrone with herby kale pesto.

Jasmine's delicious 'Golden Spoon' - a signature raw honey, coconut oil, black pepper and turmeric pick me up served on a bamboo spoon was also a huge hit.

The turmeric turns your tongue bright yellow so it was always easy spot a customer who has enjoyed one.

It is the second time that the Cirencester-based company has worked with Jasmine Hemsley, having supported her at Glastonbury Festival.

Relish director Rob Goves said: "Jasmine champions an Ayurvedic philosophy towards eating - an ancient food style centred around a healthy balanced diet which nourishes the body and the soul.

"It is an approach that we find intriguing here at Relish as it's fundamentally about real food, cooked simply and is incredibly delicious - it is always a pleasure to catch up with Jasmine and hear her ideas."
