Costa brews up final ingredient for Stonehouse Park

Gloucestershire's latest Costa Coffee has opened with the latest outlet opening its doors in Stonehouse.

The latest drive-through branch at Stonehouse Park takes the coffee chain to nearly 90 outlets across the county, including self-service Costa Express kiosks.

Costa, which has 32 customer car spaces, marks the final phase of Robert Hitchins' Stonehouse Park development.

At the entrance of the park alongside the A419, it sits alongside a new, separate 42-space car park for pharmaceutical and laboratory equipment supplier Sartorius, whose factory sits opposite.

Robert Hitchins Ltd's senior development manager Michael Plimmer said: "We are pleased to see completion of this mixed-use scheme with the benefits that it will have for the business park.

"We are sure it will prove popular with local businesses whose staff and customers will now be able to access a top-quality brand in Costa Coffee on their doorstep, while the development also provides key local employer Sartorius with the extra secure car parking it needs to support its expansion and future growth plans."

Among firms housed in the office and manufacturing facilities at Stonehouse Park are National Nuclear Laboratory, Schenck Process UK, Club Communications Ltd, Green Gourmet and Sartorius Stedim Lab Ltd.
