Bakery opens new Cheltenham store

A bakery which is proud of its Cornish roots has opened on Cheltenham High Street today (November 21).

The new Cornish Bakery is on the corner of the High Street and Pittville Street, in the unit previously occupied by H Samuel jewellers.

It marks a change for the area by Marks & Spencer, after menswear specialist Moss opened in the store next door, previously occupied by Clinton, less than two months ago.

The Cheltenham bakery is the company's 59th store in England, with branches already open at Gloucester Quays and Bourton-on-the-Water.

On its website, Cornish Bakery describes itself as 'an eat-in or take-out bakery with Cornish roots'.

The business has plans to reach 100 stores in the next two to three years, as reported by The Retail Bulletin.
