Collision on M5 leads to closure on southbound carriageway

Emergency services attended the scene of a collision on the M5 southbound carriageway which happened at around 4pm on Tuesday (November 2).

National Highways put closures in place from junction 11a Brockworth to junction 12 Hardwicke after police were called to a single-vehicle collision.

The carriageway has re-opened. Motorists were advised Tuesday evening to allow extra time for their journey as there was still congestion.

The incident involved a motorbike and the motorcyclist has been taken to hospital.
