Collision on Golden Valley bypass

Police are appealing for information following a collision on the A40 Golden Valley Bypass last Thursday (May 26).

A BMW 440i M Sport coupe collided with the nearside reservation close to Gloucester shortly before 7am. The car was travelling towards Cheltenham at the time.

Nobody was understood to be injured in the collision.

The driver of the BMW reported to police that they had to take evasive action to avoid colliding with a white van that had pulled in front it.

The white van failed to stop and officers would like to speak to anyone who can help trace the vehicle's driver.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Gloucestershire Constabulary by calling 101 or online, quoting incident 40 of May 26.
