Cirencester company provides huge donation to families in need

Cirencester-based company Spot-On-Supplies has made a massive donation to local families in need.

The donation will be distributed by Cirencester Foodbank, and consists of tissue products as well as 22 commercial size packs of premium-quality nappies, totalling over 1,600 nappies.

'The nappies will definitely make a real difference to our clients,' project manager of the Foodbank, Rachel Brindley says.

Roger Moore, managing director of Spot-On-Supplies, said: "We should have done this ages ago. It's great if we can help so many families by doing something like this."

He added: "We hire a lot of people locally for our company headquarters, so some of these babies may grow up to work for us, which is a nice thought."

Cirencester Foodbank normally give out batches of food large enough to last three days. Hygiene supplies are unfortunately a rarity despite also being necessary.

"Our clients are always really appreciative of cleaning products, tissues and nappies," said Ms Brindley.

Hygiene supplies are among just some of the products Spot-On-Supplies sell to businesses across the whole South West.

The nappies are of varying sizes and will be distributed in a way that will ensure that as many children as possible will benefit from the donation.

Cirencester Foodbank also serve Tetbury and Fairford.

Any customers of Cirencester Foodbank will need to have a valid voucher from a referral agency to use the service.
