Cheltenham solicitors assist Gloucestershire Airport in taking off

The Corporate team at Cheltenham based BPE Solicitors has advised Gloucestershire Airport on a Local Growth Capital Funding Agreement which will facilitate the extension of Anson Business Park.

The Growth Capital Funding Agreement is the first stage of Gloucestershire Airport's expansion plans which, subject to planning approval, will see a new business park built between the Anson and Meteor business parks.

New offices and industrial units will make up the bulk of the 35,000 sq m development at the Staverton site, while the remainder of the site will be landscaped.

The project will also provide multiple benefits to the local area and economy including the potential creation of around 1,750 new jobs.

Solicitor, Kathryn King, supported Gloucestershire Airport on the legal side of the Funding Agreement which will see the county's airport expand and create new access from the B4063.

She said: "It was great to work with Karen and the team at Gloucestershire Airport, and to see the beginnings of new growth in the county."

Karen Taylor, commercial finance director at Gloucestershire Airport said: "We are thrilled to see this project get underway. This is an important part of our growth strategy to deliver a sustainable business as part of our long-term vision . BPE Solicitors, particularly Kathryn, has provided us with clear, helpful advice throughout to get us to this stage in the process.".
