Cheltenham man arrested during three simultaneous police drugs raids

A 25-year-old Bishops Cleeve man arrested during three simultaneous police drugs raids last Thursday (July 21) has been sent for Crown Court trial on charges of having cocaine and cannabis with intent to supply.

Jack Tilley, of Huntsman Close, Bishops Cleeve, appeared before Cheltenham Magistrates last Friday accused of possessing 103 wraps of cocaine and ten grams of cannabis at his home with intent to supply to others on July 21.

The magistrates directed trial by jury and remanded him in custody pending his first appearance before Gloucester Crown Court on August 12.

The three police raids which led to Tilley's arrest took place in Bishops Cleeve and Whaddon and were executed by officers from the Vanguard and Cheltenham and Tewkesbury Neighbourhood Policing Teams.
