Cheltenham expansion for financial advisor firm

A South West-based financial advisory firm has just opened the doors to a new office in Cheltenham.

Cooper Associates Group, which already has offices in Bristol, Taunton and London, provides mortgage, wealth management and accountancy advice.

It celebrated its new office at Honeybourne Place, Jessop Avenue in the town with an open evening hosted by former Gloucester rugby player, Mike Tindall.

The open evening gave the Cooper Associates team the chance to introduce themselves to the local area, showcase their new premises and tell their business story.

The business was founded 14 years ago by Lee Cooper. In recent years, it has met its ambitious growth targets of 20%. In 2022, Cooper Associates acquired financial associate firm, Pengilly Cox.

The firm aims to welcome new members to the team in 2023, through the Cooper Associates training programme. The trainee mortgage adviser programme has a track record of developing second careerists, with no previous advisory experience, into mortgage advisers. Further expansion into Gloucestershire will enable these plans to come to fruition.

Samantha Jackson, chief executive officer, said: "We're incredibly excited to be present in Cheltenham. This new office marks the start of a brilliant new step in the business's journey, and I can't wait to see what the future holds for Cooper Associates in Cheltenham and the surrounding areas.

"The team looks forward to welcoming new clients into our office and providing them with friendly, professional and fuss-free advice."

The business has recently become a partner of Gloucester Rugby, across both the men's and Gloucester-Hartpury women's teams.
