Cheltenham company awarded UK’s Best Workplaces recognition

Cheltenham-based Pentadel Project Management has been recognised as one of the UK's Best Workplaces for 2022.

The recognition was awarded by Great Place to Work, based on survey feedback from Pentadel employees about its culture and working environment.

Despite the challenges of the pandemic, Pentadel achieved an average Trust Index score of 96 per cent, with every employee reporting that they were treated as a full team member re,gardless of their position.

Pentadel, established five years ago, is a fast-growing company of architects, engineers, quantity surveyors and project managers, which designs and manages the build of modern, innovative industrial facilities across the UK and globally.

Being named as one of the UK's Best Workplaces is testament to its determination to nurture and maintain a positive culture.

Amy Kemp, co-founder and director of Pentadel Project Management, said: "This is an accolade that every single member of the Pentadel team should feel incredibly proud of.

"We look long and hard for great people to join us - and finding them attracts more great people, as they thrive among good company. The only way to retain that talent is the trio of continual learning, opportunity and nurture."

Luis Martins, project manager at Pentadel, said: "Working at Pentadel feels very special and it is, indeed, a great place to work! I feel extremely proud and happy, especially as I have been with the company since the beginning, which brings me a great sense of ownership and belonging.

"Throughout these years with Pentadel, I have worked with many talented individuals and witnessed nothing but progress and success.

"There is an immense degree of trust put into the employees who are encouraged to take ownership over their work and to use their individual capabilities as well as to collaborate and learn from each other."

Pentadel is one of only 290 businesses nationally to achieve the award. Gloucester-based ProCook was also named a Great Place to Work.
