Red Apple Associates Limited has applied to Cheltenham Borough Council for a sexual entertainment licence for next year's Cheltenham Festival.
The applicant seeks to host the entertainment at Jessop House in Cambray Place for six days in 2023, previously home to the Wild Beer pub.
Dates are advised as March 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18, but the application said that the council and police will be provided with exact dates a month before.
The venue, which sits around the corner from John Lewis and opposite Tailors is expected to offer the entertainment between either 6pm or 8pm until 5am.
Jason Kirkwood, senior licensing officer at Cheltenham Borough Council said: "I can confirm that we have received an application for a sexual entertainment venue for Jessop House in Cambray Place.
"The objection period is now closed and the application will go to committee in early November.
"For this specific application, we have had approximately 38 representations, some of which are in support. These representations need to be checked to ensure that they are relevant and made within time."
He added that the council had not received any other similar applications for race week next year.
