Cheltenham all set for the Great Big Green Week

The Great Big Green Week is one of the UK's biggest celebrations of community action to tackle climate change and protect nature.
Conservation organisations, charities, community groups and individuals across the country are taking part in the Great Big Green Week from June 10th to 18th and Cheltenham is no exception.

Vision 21, Planet Cheltenham, CK Futures, Cheltenham XR, Global Footsteps, Foodloose, Clean Air Cheltenham, Cheltenham Climate Vigil, Cheltenham Borough Council and the School House Café are organisations all working hard in Cheltenham to protect the planet.
Representatives from various community groups will be present in the Town Centre Pod on the High Street throughout the week to talk to anyone interested in joining them and to answer any queries they may have about protecting the planet.
Here's a list of some of the community events happening across the town:
10th June, 12-17th June - Cable Amnesty. Reclaim used furniture store GL518PL will be open 9.30am-4.30pm for you to drop off old cables and flexes. Empty your drawers and garages and help us to put a mountain of wires back into recirculation.
11th June - Build Your Own Green Strategy, Foodloose, 15 Grosvenor Terrace, GL52 2SA, 12pm-2.30pm, 30 minute one-to-one action plan with performance coach.
12th June - Vegetable planting, Annecy Gardens, Sandford Park, 6pm-7.30pm, High Street, Cheltenham.
14th June - Bike Project, School House Cafe, 1pm-4pm St Paul's Church, GL504EZ.
Build Your Own Green Strategy, Foodloose, 15 Grosvenor Terrace, GL52 2SA. 1pm-3.30pm, 30-minute one-to-one action plan with performance coach.
Youth Climate Group Pop-Up, Church Mews, Church Street, 6pm-7pm, for 14 to 26-year-olds, GL50 3HA.
16th June - Build Your Own Green Strategy, Foodloose, 15 Grosvenor Terrace, GL52 2SA. 9am to 11.30am, 30 minute one-to-one action plan with performance coach.
17th June: Paint Giveaway, Bug House making and Bric-a-Brac stall Reclaim Furniture Reuse Scheme Lansdown Industrial Estate, GL51 8PL, 10am-4pm.
Plant & Seed Swap, Charlton Kings Parish Council Summer Fayre, 1pm-5pm, Grange Field, GL53 8AR.
