Cheltenham accountants shortlisted for tax award

Hazlewoods LLP, UK top 30 business advisers and chartered accountants, have reached the finals in the Tolley's Taxation Awards 2020.

The firm, with bases in both Staverton and Cheltenham, has been shortlisted in the category of Best Tax Practice in a Regional Firm.

The evening is now taking place as a virtual awards, being shared live online, on May 14.

Nick Haines, partner and head of Hazlewoods tax team, said: "I am delighted that the Hazlewoods tax team have been shortlisted for this award. It is such an uncertain time due to the COVID-19 pandemic that we are pleased to be able to give our hard-wording tax team something to celebrate amongst all the current challenges.

"We pride ourselves on great communication with our clients and reducing administration, whilst being as digital as possible, which has all been of heightened importance over the past few weeks. We will continue to support our clients and at this time our thoughts are with everyone affected by the outbreak."

The Taxation Awards launched in 2001 and have become recognised as marks of excellence within the tax sector.

Hazlewoods has won the 2017 Best Tax Practice in a Regional Firm in the Tolley's Taxation Awards, an award they were finalists for in 2015, 2016, 2018 and 2019. The team is also a proud winner of the 2015 and 2017 British Accountancy Awards Top Tax Team of the Year.
