Charges have been made following a stabbing in Gloucester

Charges have been made in connection with a stabbing in Gloucester City centre in the early hours of Saturday morning (April 16).

At 3.10am on Saturday police were called with a report that a man had sustained suspected stab wounds in Eastgate Street, Gloucester.

Josh Kidd, 22 and of no fixed abode has been charged with wounding with intent and possession of bladed article and has been remanded to court.

A 27-year-old from Gloucester has been released on bail to return to police in mid-May.

A third person who was arrested in connection to the incident, an 18-year-old woman from Gloucester and has been release on bail to return to police in mid-May.

The victim remains in a stable condition.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call police on 101 and quote incident 69 of April 16. You can also provide information anonymously by calling independent crime-fighting charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
