Chance to network at world's greatest airshow

Local businesses looking for a unique networking opportunity are being invited to be part of a special members-only club at The Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) this summer.

New for 2019, RIAT are launching a Business Club where companies can network within one of its premier hospitality enclosures on Friday, July 19 at RAF Fairford.

Members will spend the day with like-minded organisations, hear insights from special guest speakers including Jo Salter, the RAF's first female fast jet pilot who is now a Director at PwC - all with the backdrop of the Air Tattoo's legendary aviation action.

Pilots and aircrew will also drop in throughout the day for photo opportunities.

The Club provides a delicious lunch as well as morning and afternoon refreshments and has a prime position to enjoy the four-hour flying display.

Helen Webb, head of marketing at RIAT, said: "This is a great new initiative offering businesses the opportunity to tap into the world-class business networking experience that the Air Tattoo has to offer."

Last year, the airshow was proud to be the official international celebration of the Royal Air Force's Centenary and welcomed 185,000 visitors - including 6,000 corporate representatives.

Organisations who recognise the benefit of being represented at the Air Tattoo include Airbus, Breitling, the National Trust, Moog, the AA, Four Seasons and Rolls-Royce.

More than 302 aircraft representing 30 nations took part in the three-day event last year - including unique flypasts commemorating the 617 'Dambusters' Squadron and the RAF Centenary, in addition to a flying display by crowd favourites, the Red Arrows.

On the ground, visitors were able to enjoy a wide range of attractions and interactive activities including the Techno Zone® which aimed to inspire the next generation of engineers through STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) exhibits.

The cost of membership is £220 (plus VAT) per person. Secure your membership of the Air Tattoo Business Club by contacting Sarah Turner on 01285 713456 ext 5380 or email businessclub@rafcte.com.
