Cheltenham-based charity Caring for Communities and People (CCP) has just appointed a professional vocalist as its communications and engagement officer.

Camilla Lewington will be responsible for managing and supporting the charity's existing corporate partners and developing new ones, as well as helping increase awareness and understanding of the difference that the charity makes to peoples' lives.

She has been connected with CCP for some time now and the passion and enthusiasm she has for what we do is inspirational. This combined with her excellent communication skills and creative nature will, I believe, take the relationships we have with our corporate partners to the next level. Camilla said: "This is a dream job for me. I am a massive fan of what CCP do and the difference they make to people's lives. Camilla has run her own business since January 2017, called Just Shut Up and Dance, providing musical acts for corporate and society events. Her clients have included the likes of Mercedes, Budvar, Kensington Roof Gardens and Cheltenham Cricket Festival. Camilla featured on the BBC 1 TV Programme All Together Now in February 2018.
