Care apprenticeships opportunity with county college

Stroud and South Gloucestershire College, in partnership with Flexicare, is to recruit 10 new apprentices in care.

The future apprentices will be mentored and nurtured by experienced staff from Gloucester-based Flexicare UK Ltd, based at its Stroud Hub, working alongside a personal assessor from SGS College.

Apprentices will be welcomed into Flexicare's team of progressive personal assistants. All training will be delivered to ensure apprentices have the skills, knowledge and attributes to work in the field.

Jeanette Phillips, founder of Flexicare, said: "Working with our partners in health and social care is an integral part of our future plans and we actively challenge the norm and break down barriers which have existed in the sector for too long."

Applications are welcomed from men or women of any age, whether they are looking to start their career in care or looking for a career change.

Flexicare UK Ltd has achieved "Outstanding" status with CQC.

If you would like to meet the Flexicare UK care team and the assessment and training team from SGS College, go along to the open event being held at the Stroud Hub on 13th March, 5pm to 8pm.
