Can this kit help you tackle all of Gloucestershire's golf courses?

Gloucestershire golfers can now get their hands on the latest bit of kit to help them tackle those winding courses this spring.

The county has 22 according to Golf South West and to get across them all Gloucester firm Stewart Golf has released its upgraded push trolley.

Based in Waterwells Business Park, the company launched its R Series in 2014- the first push trolley to be built in Great Britain.

The latest edition, the 2023 R1-S Push, offers new features such as a self-adjusting silicone bag cradle and umbrella loops on the side.

It is available in black and white or a new Midnight Grey shade for those who want to blend in.

Players who prefer to stand out can snazz it up with blue, green, red, black or white wheel trims- offering 15 colour combinations.

Mark Stewart , CEO of Stewart Golf, said, "This latest evolution of the R Series further establishes it as a leader in push trolley design.

"The addition of the self-adjusting cradle guarantees that literally any kind of golf bag fits comfortably, while the new colour options mean there is an R1-S Push for every golfer."

A patented rack and pinion design allows the folding mechanism to be housed within the frame giving a sleek appearance and three quick release wheels allow for a speedy getaway.

The design also includes anti-rotation silicon bungees and holders for an umbrella, golf balls, magnetic ball marker, drinks, scorecards and pencil, as well as internal storage, four accessory points and a parking brake.

The model range has previously received Editor's Choice awards from magazines Today's Golfer and Golf Monthly which called it the "best-looking push trolley on the market".
