Specialist business property adviser Christie & Co has completed the sale of Bargain Booze in the Gloucestershire town of Lydney.
Bargain Booze is located on the busy Newerne Road, alongside a range of other stores, pubs and cafés, bringing plenty of footfall to the business.
The busy off-licence has been owned and operated by Anthony Parsons for the last 10 years, who decided to sell to pursue other business ventures.
The store has been purchased by Loganathan Kandasamy, who has retail experience running similar stores, and plans to expand his portfolio in the local area.
Joe Brayne, senior business agent at Christie & Co who handled the sale, said: "We received multiple enquiries and interest on the store. It is a really good leasehold shop. The market is generally good and it seems to be more of a sellers' market at present with high demand for similar stores."
Previous owner Anthony Parsons commented: "When we decided to sell our shop, we knew that we wanted to work with Christie & Co as they had a proven track record with similar shops in the region. In the end we achieved the sale price we wanted, and Joe Brayne regularly went above and beyond to get the job done."
