Businesses invited to train with top rugby stars

A brand-new series of training courses for business, Punchline Live, has been launched with the first ever taking place this November.

The event will give an insight into the teamwork and planning strategies of pro rugby players and how they can be applied to the workplace.

Punchline-Gloucester has teamed up with Team-i to stage the seminar which aims to "provide a fun and stimulating way for delegates to learn innovative" and "unique teamwork and leadership lessons from those who have played at the very top of their sport".

The event is sponsored by Brunsdon Insurance Brokers  and Jurys Inn Cheltenham.

Business and sport have always enjoyed rubbing shoulders, and always seen the mutual benefits to be had from an exchange of ideas, sharing inspiring stories, and benefitting from strong associations.

Joining training masterclass will be Gloucester Rugby player Charlie Sharples, who will help to coach and develop delegates as part of their coursework.

Mr Sharples said: "Rugby is, I believe, the ultimate team sport and it has been great to work with Team-i to demonstrate to businesses how the skills and experience I have learned as a player can be transcended into the workplace."

The course will cover the key elements of a high performing team and how they can transcend into your business; how to create a winning culture and the importance of good leadership.

Limited tickets are available for this event so book online at Eventbrite  before you miss out.

FREE tea & coffee available for delegates.
