Property and construction sector seemed unable to resist an evening of networking at the Tivoli Wines.

Hosted by surveyors and planning consultants, Evans Jones, the event, staged at the aptly named Wine Library, has become a firm fixture in the local business calendar.

Raising a glass (or two?) were staff from the likes of Cheltenham College, SPM Homes, Robert Hitchins, Harrison Clark Rickerbys, Portman Dental Group, Hazlewoods, Crowe Clark Whitehill, RRA Architects and Willans Solicitors.

Guests were said to have enjoyed a tasting selection of wines and were also able to sample tipples from the 'state-of-the-art enomatic tasting machines'.

A selection of South American street food was served to accompany.

Ian Eggleton, director of building and access consultancy at Evans Jones said: "We always try to do something a bit different in the midst of winter when the local business scene tends to be quiet.

"It was great that the event was so well supported and it was a great opportunity to catch up with many of our supporters from local businesses."
