Business is booming at new tea room in Stroud

Locals and visitors alike have been enjoying lunch or afternoon tea in Georgian splendour at The Georgian Tea Room, a family-run business in Stroud.
The Georgian Tea Room opened in June this year and offers a step back in time to a more opulent era, in a building dating back to the 1800s.
The tea room has a butler and all staff wear Georgian uniform. Favourite recipes include a pound cake, a Georgian chocolate tart, served to King George IV on his coronation, and a Victoria sponge, which was Queen Victoria's favourite treat when she was a little girl.
Owner Mrs Wright said: "We serve original Georgian recipes. The Georgians were quite adventurous with their cooking.
"Quite often we're fully-booked. We've been very lucky with the response."
