Business opens £400k Cheltenham repair centre

Fix Auto Cheltenham has moved into a brand new repair centre, following a £400,000 investment.

The 15,000 square-foot repair centre is at the new Festival Trade Park in the Kingsditch area of town.

It has four times the workspace of the previous site and, once fully operational, will have capacity to repair more than 250 vehicles a month, as reported by AM Online. Previously, it was able to repair around 50 vehicles a month.

The new centre has 25 work bays, two spray booths and an MOT service station.

It has been two years in the planning and comes four years since the joint owners, Kieran Humphries and Andrew Emery, joined the network, with ambitions to make it the region's premier repair centre.

A current recruitment drive is set to double Fix Auto Cheltenham's workforce.

Fix Auto UK is part of a global franchised network of more than 786 bodyshops.
