Employees at Stagecoach West have been officially recognised for their loyal and dedicated service to the bus company.

The 17 employees have together given an amazing total of 420 years' service.

They were honoured and presented with long service awards by Stagecoach West's Managing Director Rupert Cox at a special presentation evening which included partners, family and friends.

"These 17 exceptional colleagues have clocked up an incredible 420 years' service," said Mr Cox. "I am delighted to recognise the hard work and loyalty they have shown to Stagecoach West.

"We are very proud of our staff and the service they provide to our customers."

Awards for 40 years of service were presented to Mike Foran and Peter Everson. Honoured for 30 years' service were Dave Howe, Peter Allen and Lenny Dance.

Leslie Thomas and Freddie Greef were recognised for 25 years of service.

And 20 years long service awards were presented to: Chris Morrison, Paul Lee, Michael Fenner, Andy Stansfield, Carl Sweatman, Ken Powell, Richard McKenna, Steve Koshnahal, Herbert Nabaasa and Roger Dewsbery.

Six former employees who have retired since the last long service event were also recognised for their long service. They were Clive Norman (57 years), Malcolm Stafford (49 years), Michael Douglas (45 years), Bob Webb (44 years) Brian Goddard and Peter Sheldon (both 31 years).
