By Andrew Merrell | 30th October 2019
Burglars have made off with a haul including what has been called 'the best electric bicycle in the world' during a raid in Gloucester.
Police are appealing for information and have released CCTV images of two men they would like to speak to in connection with the incident in Longlevens.
The burglars struck at a property in Gibson Road during the early hours of Sunday, September 15, stealing a silver and red mountain bike and a number of tools.
Also taken was a black, red and grey coloured Gocycle electric bicycle.
Gocycle's latest models have a retail price of between nearly £2,000 and £3,000. The company was founded in 2002 by Richard Thorpe with the aim of creating 'the world's best urban electric bike'.
Anyone with information, who recognises the men pictured or has been offered any of the stolen items is asked to call 101 quoting incident 188 of September 15.
