Bruton Knowles appoints new senior surveyor

Gloucester-based property consultancy Bruton Knowles has appointed a new senior surveyor.

Tanya Atkinson will join Bruton Knowles as a core valuer, providing Red Book Valuation advice predominantly for loan security valuation purposes, across both commercial and residential properties.

Bruton Knowles said the role will be instrumental in supporting the team at a time of growth for existing client services within its National Valuation Team.

With nearly ten years' experience within the property industry, Ms Atkinson said: "Bruton Knowles is a well-established property consultancy with a strong history behind them. They're dynamic and respected in the industry, working with some very high-profile clients. I'm looking forward to working with the team, providing specialist Valuation services to the businesses growing client base.

"Bruton Knowles has offered me the opportunity to work remotely - it's encouraging to see the business embrace this new way of working and it hasn't stopped me from regularly communicating with the team - everyone has been very welcoming, friendly and supportive."

The chartered surveyors launched its National Valuation Team in 2020, to reflect the growing demand from clients to deliver secured loan RICS Red Book valuations across an ever increasing geographical area demand, delivering to a range of national banks, building societies and specialist lenders.

Ian Pitt, partner and head of the National Valuation Team said: "Since launching the National Valuation Team we have seen a steady increase in workload with a number of new business wins, allowing us to further expand our team across the country. We are delighted to welcome Tanya, whose expertise in secured lending work and bank valuations will be incredibly valuable to help us to continue to deliver a high-quality service for both our current and new clients."

Tanya Atkinson will be based in Gloucester and focus on clients in the South West, working remotely whilst travelling across the region to visit client's properties.
