Brunsdon Insurance Brokers make charity commitment
By Sophie Ladd | 21st July 2021
Brunsdon Insurance Brokers, based in Quedgeley have today (Wednesday June 21st) introduced a new charity guarantee called the the Brunsdon Charitable Donation Pledge.
The commitment is, for every qualifying new enquiry received, quoting the link to the Pied Piper, Brunsdon will donate £5 to the Pied Piper Appeal and for every successful enquiry, Brunsdon will commit to donating a further £20 totalling £25 to the children's charity.
The Pied Piper were founded in 1992 and have since been working tirelessly to make a difference to the lives of sick and disabled children in the county. This is done using four main ways:
1. Funding the Children's Centre at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital and other county hospitals.
2. Supporting all of the SEND Schools in Gloucestershire with equipment and resources.
3. Sending children with life-limiting illnesses and their families on Wish Holidays to make lasting memories.
4. Improving children's experiences at mental health facilities in the county.
So far, thanks to the generous people of Gloucestershire the charity has raised over £4 million to help local children.
Brunsdon Insurance Brokers have been trading in the city since 1932. Brunsdon are a fully independent and privately-owned insurance brokerage with over 85 years of experience. They help large corporate businesses, small to medium enterprises and private clients to manage their risk.
They have been supporting the charity for many years, by sponsoring events and donating.
Brunsdon Insurance Managing Director Neville Mills said: "As a father myself, this is a local charity that is very close to my heart. I have been flying the flag and supporting the Pied Piper for 13 years and I am excited to see the children benefit from our new referral scheme commitment."
