Bromford releases next phase at Gloucester development

New homes provider Bromford has announced the latest release of homes at a shared ownership development near Gloucester.

Twigworth Green, just three miles from Gloucester city centre, proved popular at previous phases thanks to the high-quality, energy-efficient three- and four- bedroom homes available through the affordable scheme, delivered in collaboration with five-star housebuilder Vistry.

One- and two-bedroom apartments will also be available to reserve later this year, with Bromford shared ownership ensuring local people have greater choice to secure a home that fits their needs while building towards 100% homeownership in a time frame that suits them.

Bromford shared ownership gives first-time buyers and those who do not currently own a property the opportunity to secure a new build home with Bromford. Homebuyers pay a mortgage on the share they own, and pay rent on the remaining share, meaning only a small deposit is required.

Then, when the time is right, buyers can increase their owned share until they own 100% of the home outright.

Jon Wakefield, sales manager at Bromford, said: "We're pleased with the success of the shared ownership homes at Twigworth Green thus far, and our partnership with Vistry assures us that our buyers at previous phases are settling into an excellent space.

"We're excited to release more homes at this fantastic development, which has been carefully designed to incorporate both modern and traditional living, with flexibility at the forefront.

"We don't expect these homes to be on the market for too long, so would highly encourage anybody who is looking for a Gloucester home to enquire now to avoid missing out on a brilliant home in this next phase."

Twigworth Green residents will also benefit from a purpose-built primary school built on the development by Vistry, and will be well-served by retail units on and off the development and amenities in the wider Twigworth area.

Twigworth itself is rich in activities and amenities, with pubs, places to eat, green spaces and schools including Longford Park Primary Academy and Elmbridge Primary School, both of which were rated 'Good' in their recent Ofsted reports and are within just three miles.
