Break in at Cotswolds store

Officers are appealing for information after a group of men forced entry to a shop in Northleach, Cotswolds in the early hours of Monday morning, August 14.

Police were called at around 1am to Market Place with a report four men were seen breaking into a shop.

It is believed that they travelled to and from the scene in a dark-coloured Audi and investigating officers are keen to hear from anyone who has dashcam footage of the vehicle involved.

After entry was gained to the premises an unsuccessful attempt was made to access the ATM. Tobacco was stolen before the group then fled a few minutes later in the Audi at speed in the direction of West End.

Police attended however the suspects were not located and no arrests have been made at this stage.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who saw what took place, the vehicle involved, or who has any other information which could assist the ongoing investigation.
