Bravissimo lingerie sales affected by pandemic lockdowns

Lingerie retailer Bravissimo, which specialises in bras for cup size D and higher, has announced a revenue dip of 30.1 per cent to £42.1 million in the year to October 2020.
The company disclosed a pre-tax loss of £4.4 million, a major increase from the £637,000 loss the year before. Among the 26 Bravissimo stores is one in Cheltenham's Regent's Arcade.
Amongst the coronavirus lockdown, the store was among many non-essential retailers that was hit by temporary store closures. It also sells swimwear, which has seen demand fall due to fewer foreign holidays amid travel restrictions.
In an attempt to curb its losses, the company set up a virtual bra fitting section of its website. This was met with a positive response.
