BPE advises on Cheltenham property sale

Cheltenham law firm BPE Solicitors' Commercial Property team has advised long-standing client, Boultbee Brooks Real Estate on the acquisition of a property in the town for an undisclosed sum.

This acquisition, the second in a month that BPE advised on, saw the property development and investment group purchase the former HSBC bank building on the corner of Bath Road and Suffolk Road in Cheltenham.

HSBC closed the site as well as 26 other locations across the UK in November 2020, in what it said was a streamlining of it's branch network.

Commercial property partner, Doug Armstrong, led the deal for Boultbee Brooks and completed thorough due diligence of the property.

He said: "Having acted for Boultbee Brooks Real Estate on numerous properties on a national basis, it was a pleasure to act on a local deal and I look forward to seeing what they have planned for the property".
