Big sales rise for accountancy firm

Mazars, Britain's ninth biggest accountancy firm, recorded record sales last year.

The accountant, which has an office in Gloucester, saw sales rise 23% to £288 million in the year to August, as reported by The Times.

The company continues to pick up work from bigger rivals and has recorded a growth in sales for 13 consecutive years.

Mazars increased its UK staff by a fifth last year and now employs 2,890 people in the UK.
