Big pay rise for Pandora staff

Jewellery specialist, Pandora, has increased hourly pay for store staff by up to 14%.

The retailer, which has stores in Gloucester and Cheltenham, introduced the increase earlier this month - the third in a year, as reported by Retail Gazette.

Store staff in London saw their hourly rate rise by 10% to £11.95, while store colleagues across the rest of the UK saw a 14% increase to £10.90. Store management have been given an average pay rise of 12%.

Pandora has also brought in additional incentives for staff, including a monthly bonus for all store teams, and a personal allowance of up to £500 for own-brand jewellery.

The retailer said it has invested in a healthy workplace for staff, where they feel valued and supported and aren't just rewarded competitively.
