Upmarket beauty brand Rituals is planning to open a Cheltenham store.
The retailer has applied to take over the former Goldsmiths shop in Promenade.
It wants to transform it with a new shopfront and signage and internal makeover which will include the brand's signature blossom tree centrepiece.
It will sell bodycare, home fragrance and skincare products.
The unit at 78 Promenade became available after jewellers Goldsmiths decided to upsize to the landmark former RBS building down the road.
Founded in 2000, Dutch retailer Rituals is a B Corp with double digit growth over the last 15 years.
Last year it opened its biggest shop to date in Oxford Street and announced plans to open 25 new stores in the UK and Ireland in 2024.
New stores opened this year include Truro in Cornwall, Festival Place in Basingstoke and Merry Hill in the West Midlands.
It has submitted three separate applications to Cheltenham Borough Council for the Grade II listed building, detailing the works it wanted to undertake.
They include an internal shopfit of the ground floor, minor works to the upper floors, redecorating the shopfront and installing a new non-illuminated fascia signage and brand vinyl logo above entrance doors
The council is due to make a decision by December 13.
