Azets buys Scottish accountancy firm

Accountancy firm Azets has acquired Scottish company Milne Craig, reports The Herald.

The national tax and finance advice expert, which has an office at Gloucester Business Park, bought the Paisley-based firm for an undisclosed fee.

Azets, which incorporates the former Campbell Dallas and Scottish Moncrieff accountancy businesses, has more than 3,800 UK employees.

It is one of the UK's largest professional services firms, serving 100,000 clients from 72 offices. It also operates in six countries and has 189 offices across Europe.

Milne Craig is a chartered accountancy and wealth management firm founded more than 100 years ago. It has more than 90 employees and 2,000 clients throughout the UK.

David Nairn, managing director of Milne Craig, will continue to lead the team as a partner at Azets. Milne Craig will rebrand as Azets on completion of the deal.
