Award-winning food and cocktails bar heading for the Brewery

The latest signing has been announced at The Brewery Quarter retail and leisure space in Cheltenham.

Known for its selection of botanical cocktails, food and craft beers The New World Trading Company's award-winning brand, The Botanist, is due to open at the venue this Autumn.

Named as one of the fastest growing businesses in the UK by the Sunday Times Fast Track 100 companies, The Botanist was also voted No. 7 in the Sunday Times Top 100 Best Companies to work for in 2018.

Described as "a secret garden of culinary delights and drink expertise" The Botanist claims to be an experience for all senses with an eclectic menu and extensive cocktail, wine and ale list. Visitors will be invited to experiment with flavours.

The Botanist is taking a 6,500sq ft unit at The Brewery Quarter and follows the recent signing of Urban Outfitters anchoring the retail element.

Nikki Kontarines, asset manager for Martin Commercial Properties, which manages the scheme said: "The Botanist is a fantastic signing for The Brewery Quarter, as the scheme continues to go from strength to strength. The Botanist is renowned for its spectacular interiors and lively atmospheres, and we can't wait to see the end result."

Oli Marcroft from KLM Retail, said: "In order to react to changes in consumer trends at The Brewery Quarter, we continue to approach and attract aspirational tenants. In securing NWTC and their Botanist brand, we believe we have secured the market leading operator. We are now looking at other opportunities to bring other complimentary brands to the scheme."

Chris Hill, CEO at The New World Trading Company on behalf of The Botanist Cheltenham, commented: "Cheltenham is a fantastic location for us to open, and The Brewery Quarter felt a natural choice. We are excited to meet the people of Cheltenham, and bring them onto The Botanist journey with us."
