ATM stolen by thieves in early morning ram raid

Police are investigating after two vehicles were deliberately driven at a storefront on Bath Road in Cheltenham during the early hours of Tuesday morning, February 6.

The incident happened shortly after 4am and involved a group of four or five men.

A Range Rover was driven at the store before the group took an ATM. The men then got into a second vehicle, possibly an Audi or BMW, before driving off.

The ATM was later located in the back of a van. The men are believed to have driven in the direction of Tewkesbury.

Police remain at the scene and enquiries are continuing. Work is ongoing to establish any links with similar incidents in the county.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who believes they have relevant CCTV or dashcam footage and who has not already spoken to police.

Anybody with information is asked to contact Gloucestershire Constabulary through the website, quoting incident 31 of February 6.
