Breaking: Armed police rush to scene of stabbing

Armed police were called to a Gloucester street this morning (October 28) following a report a man had been stabbed.

Shortly before 11.10am this morning (October 28) police were alerted to the incident in Ryecroft Street by the ambulance service, which was already at the scene.

The offender, described as a black man wearing a dark hoodie and jeans, is believed to have left the scene in the direction of Victoria Street.

One man is believed to have suffered stab wounds to his legs.

No further details are available at this time.

Anyone with information is asked to call Gloucestershire Constabulary on 101 quoting incident 128 of 28 October.
