Appeal for witnesses to serious injury collision on A429

Gloucestershire Constabulary is appealing for witnesses to a serious injury collision which took place on the A429 last night, Tuesday (June 29).
Police were called to Chedworth shortly after 10pm where it was reported that a car had come off the road before colliding with a tree.
The collision took place between Fossebridge and the Cherry Tree Cross Roads and involved a silver Vauxhall Astra.
The driver of the car, a man in his 30s from Cirencester sustained serious injuries to his legs and was airlifted to Southmead Hospital in Bristol where he remains this morning. His family are aware.
Officers are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the collision and would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident and hasn't already been spoken to as well as anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage.
