Appeal for witnesses following burglary at shop in Gloucester

Investigating officers are asking anyone with information to come forward.

Officers in Gloucester are appealing for witnesses to a burglary at a shop in the City.

Police were called to McColl's in Gloucester Docks at 5am Thursday morning (July 8) after it was reported that unknown offenders had forced entry to the shop.

At this time, it is not known if anything was stolen during the burglary.

Officers searched the area along with a police dog and three men were located nearby and arrested.

The men who are 48, 36 and 50 were arrested on suspicion of burglary and remain in police custody at this time.
