Appeal for witnesses after Cheltenham pub is burgled

Police are appealing for witnesses after a pub in Cheltenham was broken into last week.

At around 12.40am on Sunday (November 22), a member of the public reported two men acting suspiciously near Bath Road.

Officers attended and found that The Bell Inn on Bath Road had been burgled with two suspects running through neighbouring gardens. Nothing was taken from the premises and nobody was injured.

A 44-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of burglary before being later released under investigation.
