Appeal for information after assault involving group of teens in Kingsway

Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault which happened in Kingsway, Gloucester last month where three men were repeatedly kicked and punched.

Between 9pm and 9.15pm on Thursday, August 13 there was a verbal altercation between a group of three men and a large group of teenagers outside Tesco Express.

The group of 10 to 15 teenagers then followed the men and assaulted them outside Pizza Hut, causing them varying levels of injury.

The teenagers had been in the area for a large part of the evening with most being on foot and a couple on bicycles.

Investigating officers at Gloucestershire Constabulary are now appealing for anyone with information which could assist with identifying the teenagers to come forward.

The local policing team say that they are aware of the ongoing anti-social behaviour issues in the area and will be patrolling on a regular basis.
