Appeal following exposure incident in Cheltenham in January

In Cheltenham last month (January) a woman reported how while she was walking to work a man exposed himself to her.

This happened near to the junction of London Road and Cirencester Road where the victim was heading away from the town centre towards Charlton Kings.

The man was walking from the opposite direction along Cirencester Road, approaching the junction.

She was near to the church at around 2.50pm on Friday 15 January when the man exposed himself twice to her.

He was described as being white, aged in his 20s to 30s, around 5ft 7ins in height, and had been wearing a black woollen hat, jogging bottoms and a coat.

He then continued walking in the direction of town, he did not attempt to approach or touch the woman.

Enquiries have been ongoing and police are appealing for anyone who may have information about this incident to contact them.

Police have said there have been no further reports in the area, however incidents such as this can sometimes go unreported and officers are asking for anyone who may have suffered something similar to contact them.

You can do this online by completing the update a crime report form on the Constabulary's website quoting incident 259 of 15 January here: https://www.gloucestershire.police.uk/tua/tell-us-about/cor/tell-us-about-existing-case-report/
