Gloucestershire-based property firms Alder King and Knight Frank have been appointed to market Welcome Building - a new Grade A speculative office scheme.

The 212,000 sq ft eight-storey workspace is funded by a joint venture between Candour and Tristan Capital Partners' EPISO 5 fund, with debt financing provided by an affiliate of Apollo Global Management.

As well as a variety of flexible spaces within typical floors of 30,000 sq ft, the building will also feature a vast 'Welcome Hall' on the ground floor of the development, which will accommodate a performance space, fitness and wellness suite, café and space dedicated to encouraging local collaboration, performance and art.

Described as an ambitious and exemplar building for Bristol, environmental sustainability is said to be key to its design which is targeting BREEAM Outstanding, WELL Core Platinum and EPC A rating.

Currently under construction in the heart of Bristol's Temple Quarter, Welcome Building will also achieve Net Zero Carbon when in operation.
