Abnormal escort through the Cotswolds

Police will be escorting an abnormal load through the Cotswolds today (Thursday 28 April) which may cause delays to drivers travelling in the area.

The escort will be travelling from Cirencester to Burford leaving from the A419 at Haresbush at around 1.15pm before continuing along the A429 and A40 into Oxfordshire.

Due to the size of the abnormal load and the route taking narrow roads, drivers are advised to allow extra time for their journey.

Officers apologise in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.
