A taste of Cider with Rosie for £600,000

The Sunday school immortalised in Laurie Lee's autobiographical classic, Cider with Rosie, could be yours for £600,000.

Now a four-bedroom family home, the Slad property dates back to 1911, as reported by The Daily Mail. It offers a glimpse of life growing up in the Cotswold village, as described in the 1959 novel.

The former Holy Trinity Church Sunday school offers stunning views of the Slad Valley. It was converted into a house in 2001.

Laurie Lee lived in Slad with his mother and nine siblings from the end of World War I until he was 19. He died in 1997.
